    CZ75 sp01 safety

Just picked up my SP01 on Monday, and damn what a sweet shooter. Only going to get better after break in. Question to all of you who own it is does your safety on the right side(ambi) bow out when you pull the trigger? It works great and the detent does its job, but Everytime I pull the trigger it kinda bows out and I'm afraid of it poping out(possible?)

An internal spring rests in a notch on the shaft of that safety, so it cannot come out. Mine does have a touch of play in it I think (doesn't sit flush to the slide typically). Not sure if it moves with the trigger, but I know it isn't quite flush.

Yeah there is a bit of wiggle in my CZ97b when I pull the trigger with the safety on. Its never been an issue for me. The design and geo of the parts causes this but there is no chance of the safety disengaging.

Just adding some visual to what Jeremy is saying

Keep in mind this is a sear cage from a decocker model, but its the same concept. The arrow points to the spring that holds the safety lever in place

It is normal, mine has moves a little every so often but it has never come out and I doubt it ever will...

I must be weird but I don't particularly like the saftey at all. I never use it on my SP-01 when I carry because the hammer rubs into my side, instead I carry it in double action.....yes I Conceal Carry my SP-01 when I live up in Idaho .... heck I could carry my under-folder AK under my jacket because it gets so fricken cold up there
