Turners Reseda has an additional very large handicap: it's part of the City of Los Angeles. ID for ammo, no small handguns, and other stupid laws that may be unique in the city.

By the way, you cannot purchase ammo there until after July 4th. The City of LA thinks that the 4th will be safer if you cannot buy ammo during the 10 days prior to the 4th (and New Years). Never mind that you can drive to Burbank, Simi Valley or other close cities and buy all you want with no fingerprinting. The Firing Line in Northridge also closes during these periods since they cannot provide ammo to their customers.

Take a look at the gun store at Oak Tree Gun Club. quite a nice place.

    Being north of

Yup, the problem is the Manager is usually involved with trying to make a sale himself. One time I pulled a low number and waited longer than the guy with a much higher number because the guy with the high number had the manager doing his dros. I had to wait for the manager to finish up with the other guy before he would check my paper work. So much for pulling the low number.

Reseda is understaffed, they are hiring a lot more people.

I was close to swearing off Reseda completely, but stopped in there a couple of weeks ago to pick up a few things that didn't need a counter guy. Noticed that there were only 3 or 4 people waiting at the counter, so I decided to test the waters again and try to buy some ammo. New Turner's Reseda: In and out in 20 minutes. Old Turner's: fugeddaboutit. Used to be you'd stand there for hours watching 2 people staring in the computer screen while one was constantly on the phone and the manager was futzing around with something in the fishing dept. Looks like a 180 degree turnaround. I'm sure there's still a long wait when it's busy, but nothing, nothing like it used to be.

LOL, whenever I look at the weekly Turner's ad, on the corner of every good deal it'll usually say, "EXCEPT FOR RESEDA LOCATION" I don't even know where Reseda is, but I sure as hell never plan on going there for anything.

Go elsewhere, I've been to Guns Direct in Burbank was in and out in under 20.
Oak Tree Pro shop, same. 20 min in and out.

They carry it or they have it in stock? HUGE difference. They "carry" the storm PX4 and the SIG mosquito. But I "bought" them back in April and haven't DROS'd either yet since they have zero in stock. I used to be one of the guys who stood up for Turner's Reseda, becuase I got good service, even if the wait was a tad long.
It was not a threat. It was an exaggerated response to an uncompromising stance. I was taught never to make a threat unless you are prepared to carry it out and I am not a fan of carrying anything. Even watching other people carrying things makes me uncomfortable. Mainly because of the possibility they may ask me to help.

Reseda is in the city of LA. LA has a bunch of its own city regs, that is why. It isn't Turners it is the city of LA.

I went to Greta's to get my wife a Mosquito last month (can't get it at the Reseda Store). They had 3 or 4 in stock along with several other small autos & revolvers. The one good thing about Greta's is they do carry a large inventory.

It doesn't even matter at this point.

                                This.

Almost all of the employees I have interacted with at Turners Reseda provided good customer service.
