    Draw, and push.

So, one thing i've noticed is that when i draw my Glock 30 (subcompact, almost), I do not push out to full extension. Drawing from concealed at least. Now, on the other hand, with the Glock 17 and a leg rig i draw, and push out to full extension without thinking in a very smooth, but rapid and controlled manner. I wanna say i don't get the same sight picture with my arms fully extended on the glock 30 than i would get with the 17 and its' longer barrel. 17 has longer sight radius? Or, is this just a bad habit i have to break? The difference is minimal and i have my support hand elbow slightly bent to accommodate for..? It doesn't feel natural to have both arms pushed all the way out. Maybe it's because the grips are different sizes which causes me to slightly adjust?

Just kind of thinking out loud over here hoping for discussion about the topic.

Or am i just thinking too hard in general?

However, he lives for that day when he will be able to use his warrior skills and mindset to keep the wolf from harming the sheep."

You are over thinking it. How do you know either method is good, or bad, without engaging a scored target at a set distance measured by a shot timer?

do you hit what you are aiming at...if yes, do not go to step two. if no, go to step two

        Another Glock 30 carrier here.
Essentially this. I shoot modified Weaver; that's how I was trained and that's what stuck with me all these years. But whatever works for you is what *works* for you.

Good points. And touche to Highlander. I haven't done any actual physical research. I do believe i'm just over thinking it. And yes, i do hit what i'm aiming at. Just trying to constantly critique myself and it's hard to get constructive criticism that's actually worth the breath.

          Less thinking, more shooting.

          Thanks guys.
