    My LC9 updates

Ok, so I bought a LC9 off of Az HTF member slanky (ARFcom) awhile back. Basically upgraded from a LCP for a BUG at work, and a "summertime" ccw gun when I don't want to carry my usual (XD45 4").

Shot about 250 rounds out of it for familiarization, then the goodies began....

    TCB holster
Galloway Precision (GP) trigger bar mod
    RTK billet trigger
    GP stainless steel guide rod
    GP 20lb recoil spring

    Stippled the frame
    Removed the safety
    Removed the magazine disconnect safety

    Like a whole new gun
Shot 1500 more rounds over 3 trips to the range, everything is like butter. Shorter trigger pull, less force needed to send rounds down range. All around more smooth.... Very very happy with the GP parts, if you have a LC9 I say give them a whirl!

Made over 2k draws from the holster over a month..... Showing a little wear in the finish, but DGAF about that, this is a carry piece and a user!

Future mod, is going to replace the LCI, they just didn't have the part I needed for it in stock.

The question is: Would you rather be tried by 12; or carried by 6?

That question was asked at my CCW class and the trainer pretty much said if you have a good defense attorney, modifying your gun will not harm your case. He/she can prove that enhancements protected the public by making your shots more accurate with the tuned gun. Again that what he said.

Thanks guys. No worried about mods, plenty of guns out here are carried modified daily. A good shot is a good shot.

A single stack, compact 9mm -- just what I'm looking for. I was going with a Glock 26; but, now I've changed my mind.

What was your source for parts?

Pure FUD. A good shoot is a good shoot. On the other hand, if you put a upper light trigger and had an accidental discharge, that could be an area of contention.
