Winchester Ranger T series ammo

For my hollow points, I have Ranger T for both my 40 and 9. There is a new Hornaday round out that looks like it should be considered as well.

These expanded rounds have barbs/petals/talons similar to the ones I recovered from Ranger SXT rounds from 1997, I'm sure there are some minor differences today. I never have recovered an actual "Black Talon" round so there may be some significant difference between a Black Talon petal and a new Ranger - T petal. Either way, it looks like they are still designing the round such that the petal or "talon" will provide a secondary means of wound enhancement.

The Boned Series and T-Series are different.

Yes, the bonded series is different.
I shoot 180 gr. T-series. That's what my local LEO buddies shoot as well.

How about the 135 grain federal hydrashoks, any good?

Hydrashok (the one with a rod in center) is an older design
