XD-40 Ten round mag extensions

Went to the range today (thanks to CA357 for coming down to check my technique) and found out that I need a longer grip length on the gun. I've seen the Pierce grip extensions, but they only add 5/8" and only in the front. I need probably a good 1" the entire way around; literally extending the entire grip front and back. My Google-Fu isn't showing me such a beast. I found the SA extensions that make full-length mags fit into compact models, but not what I need of course. The only thing I've found for the regular mags adds more than 5/8", but it also adds capacity to the mag.

Anyone know of what I'm looking for?

EDIT: Looking around, the Pierce Extension+ adds 1", but also adds a around.

These units replace the magazine floor plate and internal floor plate on the 9mm (13 round only), 40 S&W, 357 SIG and the 45 GAP. These units will add approximately 1 inch in length and additional capacity.

NOTE: These extensions will not work with the 10 round 9mm magazines nor the XDM frame.

If I bought the + extensions, but didn't change out the internal floorplate, that would keep the mag 10 rounds still, yeah?

You'll probably need to get rebuild kits for the 13 round magazines, and the grip extensions, then block them to 10 rounds with a wooden dowel rod or something before you assemble them.

I have a .40S&W and a regular XD, not a 9MM or an XDm.
Just trying to figure out the best, but least expensive way to do this.

I was looking at the +1 extensions because the one you linked to, gives you 5/8" in the front of the grip for your pinky finger or what have you. When I am wrapping my support hand around the grip, the bottom part of my palm wraps underneath and my thumbs aren't crossed/on top of each other. I guess, it's an odd grip because my hands are apparently bigger than normal, lol. I need about an inch, maybe a tad more, so part of my palm doesn't get under the gun when I am holding it.

Thought about it a little more this morning and a better way to say what I've been trying to explain is that I am partially cupping the gun with my support hand because the grip is too short.

I did see that, and was kind of wondering the same thing. The other thing I was wondering about that was the same thing as with the Pierce extension: what if I just left the internal floorplate in?

If you have a subcompact and want the full size grip, you can purchase a XD X-tension.

You purchase the full size XD 10 round mags and slip these over the mag. it allows the full size 10 round mag to fit properly into a sub compact and have the full size grip. Check out the picture.

If you roll your support hand to a 45 degree angle you probably won't need the grip/mag extension. I wear a size L/XL glove and can fit both hands comfortably on even the smallest subcompacts down to a Kahr PM9.

That would probably be good, but I can't use the SA XD X-Tensions as I have the service model, not a [sub]compact.

Blackdrop- What do you mean exactly? Roll my support hand forward to a 45 degree angle in relation to the grip?
