    Glock Trigger Connector Problem

I recently tried to install a 3.5 lb trigger connector in my Glock 19. To my knowledge, everything is installed correctly. When I compare it to a new Glock, it doesn't move the same. Here is a video where you can see the connector snap out of the way with trigger pull. How do I correct this?

Are you certain you pushed the new connector all the way into the rear housing? Did you bend the connector? You have to push it in carefully at the very bottom where it has the 90 degree bend.

The connector is not supposed to move side to side due to the action of the trigger bar traveling to the rear. It is the movement of the slide that is supposed to push the top of the connector to the side.

Your connector is faulty, or the rear of you trigger bar it too rounded. Did you try and polish it somehow? And stop dryfiring it that way, your going to cause unnecessary wear on the trigger saftey. If you must make the trigger go back and forth with the slide off, hold gental forward pressure on the pointy part on top of the trigger bar so that your finger depresses the trigger safety, and then you can work the trigger back and forth.

It's hard to to tell from the video, but do you have any pics of the connector and trigger w/ trigger bar not in the grip frame?

Is it possible that you installed it incorrectly, and the trigger bar is under the connector rather than on top of it?
