...but I just bought a Glock 19 through gungenie. I've heard so many good things about Glocks, it seemed like it was time to add one to my collection. Can't wait to take it out.

GoG works pretty simple. Go to the site, pick brand, model, etc. It runs a search and returns a list of local FFLs (based on the zip code you entered) that will sell you that gun as part of their network. It breaks down the fees, taxes etc. Then you pick the FFL that is cheapest and press the buy button. I think you only pay a deposit with GoG and the rest when the dealer receives the gun and you start DROS. usually good prices and it let's you compare dealers prices.==================

Forget about stopping power. If you can't hit it, you can't stop it.

I've always been kinda confused with GoG. For instance, when I look up the G19, I see I can get it at American Gun Works and the breakdown is as follows:
Sale Price: $499.00
Addit'l Fees: $49.95
Tax: $43.66
Sub Total: $592.61
DEPOSIT: ($149.75)
BALANCE DUE: $442.86
What additional fees amount to $49.95???Comment

So wouldn't that mean that GoG is less of a good deal because you can just go into any store and either buy one off the shelf or have them order one for you? Cause typically all stores don't charge extra fees except for a certain socal chain store...Comment

Can't find anything in my area. I am planning to buy a Glock from a calgunner, but he's not 100% yet. I'm waiting, if not I will go GSSF route.GoG works pretty simple. Fee includes dros, it all depends on the dealer on how much they charge.I've always been kinda confused with GoG. For instance, when I look up the G19, I see I can get it at American Gun Works and the breakdown is as follows:

I know that it probably includes the DROS in there. The DROS fee is fixed statewide...FFLs cannot charge whatever they want for it. They can however charge extra fees but it has to be explicitly separate from the DROS.Comment
