You'll be interviewed by someone at the Sheriff's station. Since we are NOT a shall issue state, the decision on whether you get granted a permit or not rests on the person issuing the permit on a case by case basis. That said, I suggest that when you go in, volunteer to clarify the incident and your honest explaination of it. Accept responsibily for your mistakes and let them know that you are a responsible, mature adult. Also, you can simply call the office and ask them about you particular circumstance before you even start filling out any application. The number is listed on their website.
