    which CZ for USPSA production

I'm getting more and more into this sport. Since I can't get a Shadow which CZ do you recommend. Price doesn't matter. I will probably send it in to CZ custom for a full work over. Also this will be a dedicated pistol for USPSA

I was told that I can bring in a single shot shadow. Where can I start to look into that or where to go to acquire one.

There are two shops in CA that I know does SSE on CZs. Valkyrie Arms in the Bay Area who I went through, and OC Armory in well, the OC. Valkyrie Arms was awesome to deal with. Quick and excellent communicators, and stand up dudes.

Just to let you know the reason for me asking is that the shadow is not on the approved list. That is why I am asking these questions. If I could get it straight from them then I would.

Yep, do SSE. I bought an SP-01 from someone who didn't need it anymore since he bought a Shadow.

You should decide if you want a decocker model or not. USPSA production requires the gun to start off decocked. With the decocker model, it will drop the hammer to half-cock. With a safety gun, you have to manually decock. This got me DQed at my last outing because I decocked incorrectly (I did not pull the hammer back so that it was NOT resting on the sear before pulling the trigger) and I ND'ed. But since I knew that was a possibility, the gun was of course pointed downrange. It left me shaken as it was quite a surpise (especially since the slide comes back and hits your decocking fingers!). Quite embarassing too. With the decocker model, just hit the lever and you're done.

USPSA production requires non-decocker models to be decocked with the hammer fully down, that means hanging onto the hammer while the trigger is pulled ALL THE WAY until the hammer is down. If they would allow half cock it would be easier, but they don't.

But having said all that ... SP-01 or Shadow if money is not a problem. Tack on $100 for SSE or whatever. Try Valkyrie Arms in Milpitas.

Thank you. Just emailed valkyrie arms. I used to live in san jose before getting a job here in China Lake Naval Air Weapons Station so hopefully they can help out. The CA laws don't make any sense anyways. If the cops don't know what they rules are then that's a firm indication that the people in charge don't know what they're doing.

After I send it to Valkyrie Arms and they SSE it, they can change it back to normal correct. Only reason I'm asking is they haven't responded back to me.

The 75 TS can be used in Limited division though. It's because of the SA trigger that disqualifies it for production.
