It's preban, but not the oldest preban, the original mags did not have a bright metal outline, they were black. Hard to see in this picture, but the lining is black.

Plus, you can't sell hicaps in California.......

here is a better pic, notice the mold indents are black

I still have, and use, my oldschool G17 mags. They still work great.

Thanks. I just did a little research. Apparently they've made a total of 9 different mags. This is a 3rd gen mag out of the 9.

That is one well used Glock Highlander.

I meant to sell it as a parts kit. I'm aware of not selling it as a working mag.

Chris...my advise is NEVER SELL IT....I also have perhaps 70 preban magazines. Own 21 GLOCKS now, had probably 35 of them since 1987.

I keep them because I can legally own them and rebuild them. You should do the same.

I buy replacement rebuild kits from LONEWOLF. The sell normal hi-cap magazines to us California residents in a parts kit and charge only one dollar to take them apart. I still have probably 20 more older magazines that need rebuilding; it does cost money so I take my time. I have rebuilt most of them as money allows.

As money allows, order replacement parts from Lonewolf; they come in a baggy in parts only. I recommend you just rebuild that preban and consider yourself lucky.

May the Bridges I burn light the way.

Second that. I've kept prebans on guns I didn't even like. You never know if you'll change your mind in the future & this way it stays legal for you to own.

The only state that "pre-ban" magazines can sell for more than regular magazines is NY.
This is due to how NY's high capacity magazine laws are written.
Magazines made before 09-1994 are exempt from the NY laws.
Burden of proof on when a magazine is made is on the possessor.
