    Rear Sight Sliding?

    Ok so I have a GSG 1911-22
I LOVE this gun, I have put a bare min of 4000 rounds through it and it is still running like a champ. mostly Remington Golden Bullets and CCI Mini Mags.

Anyway to the point, the rear sight keeps sliding, How can I keep it in place? I have tried tightening the screw but it just starts to strip. should i glue it or something?

I'm no gunsmith, but the higher strength loctite is a great idea. (the blue *might* not be strong enough - what's the next level - the red one?)

Red can be "permanent" so be carefull with its use.
I would remove the sight, hit the base of the sight's dovetail near the edge with a pointed punch to spread the metal a little larger, then tap the sight back into place.
