    Springfield TRP 1911 is here!

My first gun was a Kimber 1911 and it has been flawless since new, then the 2nd 1911 was my Scorpion which feels the best in my hands by the way. I started to read up on the Springfield 1911's and decided I just had to have one. So I bought one on May 11th, but I had to wait until May 28th for the gun store to dros me since I had bought my Scorpion on April 26th. Anyway, the long wait ended on June 7th and during the wait I decided to buy new grips for them. The slide to frame fit is definitely tighter on this than my Kimber or Sig and I'll take it out this coming weekend to see how it shoots.

Here it is fresh out of the box

The new grips! I haven't seen anyone with these yet and I may be the first, LOL.

The best production 1911 out there; hands down, bar none.

Congtats it looks sweet. I carried my TRP Operator for a while there awesome. IMO they blow the doors off Kimber, I own one as well. Those grips are slick, VZ's?

That is a beauty, I almost pulled the trigger on one of these too. So solid in the hand too!

Was that the one marked sold at Valkyrie for the last month? I saw it was MIA the other day. I always wondered who was counting down the days until they could pick it up.

That's pretty... I luv my SA Loaded 1911. I noticed the two grips are similar, except one has a skull. I sort of like to non-skull one better.
