Crimson Trace LIGHTGUARD. Check it out. http://www.crimsontrace.com/media/ca..._classic_4.jpg
edit: no strobe I don't think, & ~100 lumens.. Bright enough I would imagine.Last edited by tal3nt; 06-11-2012, 5:36 PM. -
Well for me, I prefer no light so I went with the magazine base plate ( http://t2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:A...LGPHvRT7Vvj9c0 ). Not too popular among Glock owners... I admit it looks ugly but you have the ability to put on any 1" diameter light that's super bright with all those different modes. Attaches to the mag, not the gun so I swap mags during the day and only use the "light" mag for bed time. Figured I will only need one mag for a home defense scenario anyways. Also I can grip the gun how I normally do with my weak hand index on the front of the trigger guard. The added weight from the flashlight reduces recoil considerably and gives the gun a better center of balance. Holsters. Two minor drawbacks: Light beam points slightly lower than the muzzle, and again, it ain't the prettiest. The point of aim for the beam really doesn't matter when you put a 500 lumen light on it like I did.Comment

Check out the TLR-3 or TLR-4. Only thing tho is these were designed for compact guns, so you might have a hard time reaching the controls on the light. But from the pictures I've seen of the TLR-1 mounted on a G17, it doesn't stick out much at all!Comment

Nay, the TLR-1 sticks out significantly on a G17. My G17C with TLR-1 is the top right in this pic. See for yourself.

That's nothing! It sticks out more than that on my Full size M&P40. Matter of fact, the entire lens portions sticks out. I think it the TLR-1 fits perfectly on the G17.Comment

Oh I think the TLR-1 works great on the G17. I didn't get mine matching duracoated cause i didn't like it
. The OP wants it flush though, which it is not.
