WTF? You must have a lot of handguns. Last I looked the locked container part is only for handguns and registered AWs. Longarms and shotguns need only be unloaded. FYI, I use a backpack similar to how you've used the luggage.

Make sure you can't fold the bag in a manner where you can still open the zipper with the lock in place.

Well, your trunk is a locked box too! (Glove box not allowed!)

The biggest complaint about the MidwayUSA range bags is that you can't lock them without installing grommets on them (they have double parallel zippers). But nobody said that the range bag itself had to be the locked box. So you can shove the whole range bag in another locked box OR get a locked pistol rug for inside the range bag.

In a GFSZ a little more is required; although I think locked in a rack is adequate. A locked case -- even softside is even better.

pop_wm_82362.jpg I have this gun and similar case that locks. Once it's locked can I snap it on my belt and be on my way? Can a locked container be concealed on a person?

What's wrong with transporting everything - handgun and ammo - inside a locked ammo box?

That's called LUCC Locked Unloaded Concealed Carry. Perfectly legal. In fact I know of one calguns member that was doing open carry, they 12031 checked him like 5 different times and never even looked at the locked fannypack he was carrying. It contained a CZ75B and a couple mags of ammo which are not in the magwell.

concealed is concealed, loaded or not i wouldn't chance it. A felony means you can't have guns so not worth it to me.
