    1911??

hey guys im looking into getting either a sig sauer 1911 45, with a rail and night sights. Im also looking at the kimber 1911 45 tactical custom 2. the sig sauer is on sale for $899 and the kimber is $1285 not on sale. which is my best bet for a good reliable 1911. for having fun with at the range and also having for home

The Colt that's not on your list is your best choice. =)

Both are fine guns. If your budget is $1300 I say...
Buy the Sig that's on sale and spend the rest on ammo!

$899 for a railed Sig with night sights? I would jump on that deal.

Are you referring to the Sig TacOps? I have the TacOps traditional slide model. Best bang for the buck in 1911's. Awesome pistol. Currently my favorite in my collection.

                    That's a beatiful 1911! Very nice!

I'd like to get one with a rail and night sights too. I've become very preferential toward stainless steel finish guns though. Most of my guns are blued, but I'm liking stainless steel better on the whole.

Thanks man! Here's my other railed 1911, the Kimber Stainless TLE/RL II w/ upgraded parts on it. Very smooth racking, nice shooting, never had any issues with it.

Thats the same price I paid for my Sig last month....wonder if its the same dealer? I love my Sig Nitron Rail.... GW has it right...buy the Sig and spend the rest on ammo. Better do some workout on your arms muscles though...carrying an ammo can of 45 ACP is much more exhausting than the same ammo can filled with 9mm.
