Ive got $1000-$1500 for a Railed 1911, Help?!

My personal recommendation is the Springfield MC Operator, or a Sig 1911 Railed. I personally don't enjoy new Colts or Kimbers.

I went with a Sig 1911 railed. Only 2 range trips on it so far but its function and fit is excellent.

In that price range you have some good options.

Had similar requirements recently and I went with a Sig Nitron Rail 1911. It is black, railed, no stupid ambit safety (unless you are a lefty I don't see the point), and has factory 3 dot night sights. It is pretty cool looking too if you aren't hung up on a nontraditional looking 1911.
