    stimpling in SF bay area?

    Does anyone know where I can get my M&P40 re stimpled?

        Sorry OP! I don't know who does this stuff in the Bay Area. I know Irvington Arms does a decent amount of custom gunsmithing so maybe they can. This is also something you can do yourself to a pretty good level w/ a soldering iron. I know... it's scary as hell... but I have seen soooo many DIY's that come out amazing that I think if you are "handy" at all, you can nail it. Practice on another piece of plastic, like the case the gun came in or something...

            Do it yourself, you cant do it worse then some of the jobs Ive seen people who do it for money.

              Seriously, it's not hard. You could try it on a back strap you don't use or buy a spare one and try it out. It's not hard to do.

                Search online (stipple not stimple!) and there are lots of videos and how to guides...
