Mine does not cycle reliably with low power reloads. The hotter the better. With hot factory ammo it cycles well and is fun. Mine is ported as well so the recoil is not bad. Good for filling a pumpkin with water and exploding it. Or shooting deer in Montana off the front porch.

Michael is a GREAT guy to work with...throw down your deposit and he'll start searching for one. Took about 4 weeks to find my DE50 in black.
Since we're sharing, here's mine (got the extra .44 Magnum barrel & magazine for good measure!):
Here's the DE50 next to my new favorite LTC/CCW pistol...a NAA revolver in .22 Magnum. Biggest pistol in the stable next to the smallest!
I think I could fit the NAA in the magwell of the DE50!!!

Great! The Hornady is $3 to $17 a box less than anything else available right now. And the brass is great for reloading. Best deal in town for factory 50AE.You will never, in your life, have a chance like this again.
