    cheaper .45 acp?

I am on the hunt for something cheap to feed my pistol and walmart seems to be out of stock whenever I need something to plink with.

So far I've tried the $20 Remington, the $18 Federal, and the $15 Tula, all 50-round boxes, with positive results. Winchester White Box has been out of stock but I would like to give it a try.

Outside of committing to 500 rounds, what is the cheapest .45acp you know of? I just need cheap practice ammo to get my skills up before I start testing defense ammo.

Tulammo is the cheapest I have seen it go for.

Try reloading, I reload .45 and it is about half the price of the Tulammo.

CCI Blazer runs about $14 a box online. Its aluminum case, though, so no reloads. You may be better off committing to 500 round bulk.

^^^This one! It will not save you money, but it will make you shoot cheaper. The more you shoot the better your groupings will get!

              Reload. I pay $6-7 for a box of 50.

                +1.

Save a ton by reloading, and can tailor your rounds for what you are doing. My competition .45 loads are extremely low recoil to keep you front sight on target.

Try reloading. I'm planning to get a 650 before year end. You'll save a lot more and can control loads that best fit you.

I dont know why you guys havent recommended to him:

BULLET MAN! Serge's reloads are probably the best outside of factory.

Fired THOUSANDS and never had a single hiccup. It's MUCH better than polymer (wolf/tula/garbage)

Mark hodge does an almost monthly group buy that has never gone wrong. Make sure to stock up when this happens.

http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...d.php?t=397946 25 pages of satisfied customers.

I would like to apologize to Serge right now and say I made the biggest mistake giving some money to Jack Ross. I should have paid $10 more... would have my ammo already and most likely already shot it.

is that all? everything you need to start reloading immediately is the Lee clasic turret press kit?

You can improve a lot of skills with 9mm and even 22cal. Just a thought.
