            I have a 2nd gen and a 3rd gen. Lots of rounds through the 2nd gen, a 659. One of my favorite pistols. Great trigger, compares very favorably with a range of other 9mm pistols shooting-wise, though not suitable for CCW in my view (waaaaay too heavy and big/bulky). Extractor failed once and I was able to replace it easily.

            Somewhere I read that the 3rd gen need to have replacement extractors fitted by someone with professional skill. I also enjoy that 3rd gen but it is much more of a safe queen.

            I'd love to get a 5903 to enjoy in my dotage.
