I took my new S&W 22A .22LR out for the 2nd time today. This time I brought along a screw driver to adjust the sights. I found that I had to put them all the way down and all but two clicks to the right. Is this something I should bring up with S&W? Yes, I did get it to hit where I want, but I have no more room for adjustment down and almost none left to the right.
I suppose if POI stays fairly consistent, I won't care, but I'll be bummed if I need to tweak in those directions with different ammo.
I plan on using it for target plinking and for steel challenges, so I am concerned about getting it right.
Other than the sight issue, the thing is great! I had a couple of failures today, but I don't think any were the gun's fault. One was a sticky magazine follower and the other two were dud-primered rounds.
