New Non-Railed P229

TGS is selling a gun I really want.

Is there any way I can get this gun out to me? I'm no leo.
The model # is on the DOJ, the only thing making it illegal is the 12 round magazines. If I could somehow talk them into 10 rounders, would it pass my local FFL?

If not, does Sig still sell a non-railed 229 version that are non-cataloged?
I know this is the case with the Stainless Steel Frame Versions.

Tell them to break them down as rebuild kits then sell them and buy 10 rounders id contact them first.

Like Panda said have them break the mags down into rebuild kits you should be fine.. also some FFL's can accept the high cap mags and then they will break it down for you ( but better check with them first on this)

You dont need to tell them to break down the mags.

Just ask to switch the mags to 10 round mags and they will do it.
