Mag disconnect removal for ccw purpose in CA

Is there a topic here on the legality of removing mag disconnect for ccw on roster handguns? Thanks for your help.

No law against it...but some jurisdictions have rules about not modifying your CCW firearm as part of the requirements to be granted one. Legally it could open you up to additional scrutiny if you had to use that weapon for self defence, or had an negligent discharge with it.

I just checked with my IA (Ventura County) and they don't care and have no policy against removing it. Check with your IA.
