    Canik MC9 Battery Issues

Looking to get some information on the Canik MC9 and it's issue going into battery. I recently aquirred this firearm however I'm frustrated with the fact it continues to fail going into battery. I think I have shot over 100 rounds hoping it would get better but that is not the case at all. I'm frustrated as I like the firearm but seems worthless at this point. Has anyone else experienced this issue and were you able to resolve it. I have watched youtube videos and tried some of the reccomended fixes but I seem to be out of luck. Would love the hear from you if you have in fact dealt with the same issue.

really need more detail for folks to troubleshoot across the computer screen. FTF has many many symptoms and can be caused by variety of things.

Picture of the round stuck, when does it happen (first round or last round in mag), etc details would allow others to help.

Can you take pictures of the issue.

Also you might try just phoning the mfg and see if You can send it to them to fix. There should not be someone trying to okie doke your sd pistol into working if it’s a mfg issue.

Send it back would be my solution.

Did you aquire the gun new or used?
If aquired new, contact the manufacturer and see what they can do for you.
If you acquired used, maybe check the safety plunger and spring. I had to deal with the same issue, but in my Glock. When putting the slide back together, I didn't put the firing pin safety spring in quite right. It caused the safety plunger to bind a little, catch the high point of the trigger bar, and hold the slide out of battery. I took it apart, put it together more carefully, and the problem was solved.
Pull the slide and check that the firing pin safety plunger moves up and down freely.
        Hope that helps.

I looked up the Canik on YouTube yesterday and now I'm getting all kinds of "fix it" videos

Maybe check the plastic where the frame meets the metal rails?

Yeah, I’m glad I avoided the urge to buy one of those.

With the amount you say you've shot it, have you confirmed it's a firearm issue and not an ammo issue?
