S&W 2206

Here is something you don't see everyday (especially in CA). S&W 2206 4" barrel, 22lr. Stainless steel slide and frame.



I found this beauty in my LGS almost two months ago (30days consignment wait plus 10 day dros). Just enough time for me to research and get some spare parts for it.

One can never have too many 22lr right?

They are identical in design. But 2206 has full stainless steel slide and frame (and only come adjustable sight and black grip).

That looks rather neat actually. Used to have a .22 pistol that had a look like that, but it was some other brand.

Agreed! Nice snag ON - I dont think I have ever seen an SW 22xx.

I just get back from the range. And I'm very happy with this new addition. Not only it eats cheap federal bulk ammo with ease, it also a pleasure to shoot.

There are two of my targets for today. 10 yards, slow pace, free stands.





I'm usually very bad with 22lr pistol. I can shoot 9mm/40s&w much better than I can with 22lr. But these were results of first few mags. I'm sure after few bricks of ammo, I can do even better.
