No Gen 6 or V models for California

According to this writer who was at the Glock USA headquarters in Georgia,
"GLOCK says the Gen6 and V Series pistols were not designed as California-compliant firearms and that GLOCK is currently working toward giving California customers new product options".

Also, he is saying that it is confirmed that Glock is working on a AR,
"For once, the long-circulated internet rumors were true! GLOCK is indeed making an AR, the GLOCK Rifle (GR115).

    What do we know?
    • It exists.
    • It’s a direct-impingement AR-pattern rifle.
    • It will only be available to select law enforcement and military customers with no commercial release date as of yet."

We have all the details on the many improvements made with the new GLOCK Gen6 pistols. And yes, the GLOCK Rifle does exist.

I'm selling 3 Glocks right now at normal prices to help fellow calgunners. Maybe I should hold on to them for 6 months then brutally gouge everyone lol. J/k.

The price will stabilize at around 6-700 bucks for your milquetoast 17,19,20, etc. The .40 caliber ones will be 50-100 dollars cheaper. The cool ones like the 32,40, and all the other already off roster ones will remain with the same 100% minimum LEO markups.

I noticed the models 17, 19 & 26 will remain on the roster. I don't see an Austrian AR pattern rifle making much of a splash in US sales.

Just what the world needs, another AR, we've had a dearth of AR choices!

Block is smart to make their AR unobtainium for the masses. Like the HK416, it will only make it even more desirable in an overcrowded field of AR's. There are enough Block fanboys to buy up anything that manages to sneak out and they'll pay big bucks for it.

Even though Block doesn't innovate much and it takes forever if they do, I'd expect their AR to have some pretty creative thinking to improve the platform enough to make it desirable over any standard run-of-the-mill AR.

I like Glocks, but feel entirely different.
More Glocks Pistols and less Glock AR-15’s.

In fact more 45acp and more 308’s ! The hell đŸ¤¨

Also, if the double stack Glocks are banned , why not deliver Glock 43 / 43x pistols ?!

It looks like they will be after MIL/LE contracts.

I'm not a huge AR guy but even I have somehow ended up with 5-6 of them. I can't imagine anything Glock could do that would be innovative or interesting to the AR. Probably a smart business move to go for LE/Mil but for us plebes, why would anyone want and pay a probably exorbitant price for one?
