Glock G20 gen 5 mags.

Will the gen 5 g20 mags work in the gen 4 g20. I just purchased 2 gen 5 mags for a Gen 4 G40 not realizing they might not be compatible.

Glock mags are Glock mags. Gen 5 mags will work in any proper caliber gun. I have gen 5 mags that work just fine in my gen 3 19.

I have a G40 gen 4 and can confirm gen 3-5 mags work fine. That includes gen 3 10 round mags and gen 4-5 15 rounders. I live in Utah now so I have been replacing my limited capacity magazines.

I run Gen5 G20 mags in my Gen 3 G21 with 10mm conversion barrel and it runs fine.

-glock mag will work with prior models. prior models such as gen 3 will not with ambi. models such as gen 5 with ambi contols.
