I'm interested in maybe getting a sig 1911. From what I have heard online the triggers run about 5.5lbs. My kimber is at 3lbs. and the ria tactical I had I would guess would have been about 4.5lbs. Both have clean triggers. So on the sig do they break clean and how heavy a pull are they?

Sig 1911 triggers

In general, most production triggers will break between 5 and 6 pounds. Sig triggers break cleanly, no different than the ignition system in any other 1911. -
Regardless if it's heavy or light, any competent gunsmith can tune the trigger to be whatever you want.
But out of the box they are very nice, in the 5 range with a clean break typically."If it wears out, replace it. If it breaks, upgrade." -Cranky Air Force Vet.

I guess I need to go find one to try. I'm right by a Turner's but they don't have them.Comment
