    Girsan M1911 Untouchable

God I hate the roster. Look at that, full size, 1911, 9mm, half rail under $500. I wonder if they are any good?

I'm always a little cautious of reviews when something 'first' comes out, but...

I have a 12 gauge auto loader that’s made by them. It’s pretty solid. Hasn’t given me any grief

Have read generally favorable reviews about Girsan pistols. The only thing that stopped me from getting the MC-35 was just that it has the tiny old school style beavertail and I know I'll get slide bite as I like to hold the pistol high in my hand. But that's a design issue, not a reliability issue, most reviews I have read the Girsans shoot great.

Looks nice. I don't buy Turkish guns because the quality seems to hit and miss. Especially the O/U shotguns. My shotguns come from Italy and my handguns are made in the USA.
          YMMV

I have the hi power knock off, got it recently and it was good on my only trip out with it. @$499 retail new it was slightly an impulse buy because my LGS had it at that price on a pick up day and they deserved the business. No regrets

                Turkey for Thanksgiving... seems appropriate.
