Local places are just about, or a little over $200/k plus all the tax/fee expenses. Not really all that bad. If one thinks about all the inflation that occurred the last 5 or so years, the price is good, even including the 11 percent baloney. TSUSA had stuff down to about $170 or $180 per K for bulk just before things went crazy several years ago, and that was really really good pricing.
Stuff that has become crazy expensive are primers and powder.
Some of the cost might be related to military use in the various conflicts. For sure the lack of the cheap 7.62X39 is missed.
