    Which Streamlight would you use?

I am debating between the TLR2 and the TLR4, which both have lights and laser. Very cool both. But TLR2 is twice as much as TLR-4, with also twice the size. They seem to be exactly the same really. Can someone who owns them chime in with their opinion before I make the purchase?

My uncle is a Streamlight wholesaler to the police and I've messed around with both of these. The major difference is the TLR-4 is made for "compact" and "subcompact" guns with a shorter rail. The TLR-2 is for full size guns and the advantages are a brighter light (60% brighter) and longer battery life (67% longer)..... It's up to you if that's worth the extra money but it really depends what gun you're trying to use this on....

Im using it on an SA Operator and soon on a Wilson CQB. Im figuring that it should not matter much since I can simply buy 2 of TLR4 for the price of 1 tlr2 and play with it. If the only thing different is light intensity and battery life. I can live with the tlr4.

Sounds like you have it figured out but you can always go to a Streamlight distributor and check both out.....

TLR-1, usually they can be found under $100 on amazon/ebay and just equally as good without the laser.

I got one of the TLR-1r strobing lights on Amazon for ~$100. Stuck it on the G19, and I am fairly certain that w/in 7 yds, the rounds will all impact within the white light anyway...

I've got a TLR-1 on my Glock 22. The bullets will hit center of light at inside the house ranges. The sights are nicely silouetted if you need them. I don't see much need for a laser.

TLR-1 is a solid light at a great price.

all i have to do is go to the range and get used to the added weight of the light and should be good to go

Is that a replicable deal? Loved to get one for that price especially new.

                              TLR-1s

They are not as bright and as crafty as surefire but you can tell the quality is there.

I had a surefire x300 before this but i sold it i do miss it
