Since getting my CCW, I've been carrying my Glock 23, the sub compact .40. Given that I'm in CA, my mag holds ten and yesterday at the range I decided I was going to try 10+1 (one in the chamber plus a full mag).
Didn't workout for me very well. In the 10+1 configuration, the Glock would fire, but not eject the spent round. I was also unable to do a rack-tap as the slide would not move more than a couple of centimeters to rear until I dropped the mag.
This happened with all three of my mags (two that came with the Glock, and one that I purchased a month ago). Does anyone know if this is a common problem or am I just lucky?
I'm using 40 Hornady TAP FPD, 155 Grain XTP Jacketed Hollow Point rounds.
