I guess im spoiled.
when I have purchased an item like a New 1911 compact my FFL has me call in my CC to one of his wholesale dealers. They collect the tax and submit it. I don't know about the new CA sin taxes. This compact was in July so im old news. You FFL is only saposed to charge transfer fees and I guess today the sin tax. He can add any selling transaction profit to your purchase. I always over pay for the item directly to the FFL and he pays sales tax on that. These guys are so detailed about it all. I was surprised I had to pay for an ammo permit for some common .45 and .38spl.
today shops are scanning their records try to buy back vany GLOCK. For resale.
I'm out of collectcollecting almost out or shooting. None of my local ranges are handicapped compliant. So my last exciting range day was at Bisley in the UK. Even that is a distant memory. But for the photos never happened.
