    Range/Practice Go-To?

With all the threads these days having the topics be either Glock or Sig (P320), I thought we could have a "sharing thread" that is more positive:

When you go to the range, or go to your venue of choice for some practice: What pistol do you grab first?

    I'll share mine:
My Sig SP2022 - to get the DA/SA practice.
(Next would be my old S&W 686)

I've never seen ivory-style grips for a B92 before. Nice! Especially on a Brigadier!

Depending on the time I've got it will normally be the carry guns first. Sig P35XL, G 19, and the run to the store for milk gun S&W 442, minimum 50 rounds each. After those time permitting the 1911's, then the Smith revolvers.

If I'm going to the indoor range, I shoot what I'm carrying. you only get an hour there. If outdoors, variety is the spice of life.

Mostly a Glock as that is what I carry 95% of the time. But could be any number or caliber of Glock from a Sub-compact to a full size Glock. The harder choice is always what rifle or rifles I’m going to take.

I haven't shot at an indoor range since I left California.
Im a warmonger baby, I got blood in my eyes and I'm looking at you.

Pachmayr. Stole them for $23 on the eBays. With a nice black canvas like that, virtually anything within reason looks good. Gonna get me some scrimshaw whalebone stocks next, or maybe lion or tiger penis.🤔🙂

Lately, I’m taking my P365 xmacro but I seldom take just one pistol. Usually, it’s 3-4 but can be double that if it’s an all day shoot. I can’t remember the last time I didn’t bring at least one 1911 and it’s usually includes either my DW CBOB or Trophy Match. I suppose a Glock is usually in the rotation as well.

I typically bring 3 handguns (indoor range nearby) but not always. Sometimes I have a "theme shoot". R&R is Rock (Island) and Ruger so it's 1911s and my GP100. Sometimes it's "My Three Sons" for my 3 M&Ps (full, compact and Shield, all 1.0s). "Hammer Time" is all hammer fired (Sig, Beretta, may include 1911 and/or revolver). "Just the Germans" are my Walthers. Once I did "Transformers" with my 320C along with my full and subcompact xchange kits.

If no "theme" in mind, I bring my SP2022 (9mm), Ruger SR1911CMD, and an almost random pick of one of the others.

I rotate through my guns. They all need the exercise.

Glock 26 because its the one I carry the most.

                              SA mil-spec 45, just because.
