i asked ruger about adding a 45acp cylinder to a 45lc blackhawk. ruger replied will only do if the gun was originally sold as a convertible with both cylinders, but one cylinder missing now.

single six is a different story. midway sells replacement six and eight shot 22lr/wmr cylinders. my 22wmr eight shot needed $20 of gunsmith fluffing and 100 range rounds before it dialed in absolutely perfectly. my single eight is a forever keeper, way more accurate than i deserve.

I have a lot of experience with single action stuff including convertible Ruger Blackhawks and Vaqueros (and just about any brand SA revolver). I also have some cool info and lots of experience regarding reloading and interbreeding 9mm/38/357. If anyone has questions, send me a PM.
