Bringing own targets to range?

Anyone happen to know if this is allowed? After getting a p226r, 1k ammo, and a membership, I really feel the need to save what little money I can even if its for targets. Another plus is that it has glows a different color at where you hit the target, so I don't have to squint down the range to see where my shot went. I don't want to bring my own targets though if it is frown upon. Thanks for any input!

I've never been to a range that prohibits personally-bought paper targets. That being said, when in doubt, call and ask.

Depends on the range I guess. I've never had one say you can't put up your own paper targets. If you plan to bring water bottles or balloons I would ask the range before you do. Some don't allow you to bring steel or other hard targets.

Most indoor ranges are cool with you bringing your own paper targets. I don't know if they feel the same about steel. Think thats for outdoor ranges.

The indoor range I shoot at allows your own paper targets as long as they are heavier paper stock. no copy paper targets.

Some ranges wont allow you to shoot anything with a face either, no zombies no animals no terrorists ect. So like others have said, call and ask.

I usually buy one paper target, then I tape up photocopied targets over the holes and do this until it's a mess. I've been thinking of bringing a piece of cardboard to tape up my photocopied targets on. I think they'd be OK with that as they are OK with normal paper targets that you bring in.

If it isn't on their website or in your membership info, call them. I've seen policies on this go every which way with or without distinction between members and non-members.

When I shoot indoors, I like buying a couple of their torso targets then putting a few of my own sticker "shoot-n-c" targets on them

our indoor range lets you use your own targets, and I use the stick on shoot n see targets as well...

I always bring my own paper target when I go by myself. If I'm bringing someone new, I buy the silhouette targets they have at the range.
