Aftermarket glock trigger 4 range toy

I have always kept my glocks stock except for sights.


I have a gun that I don't think Ive shot in over a decade.... so I was thinking it might be interesting to add a Johnny Glock trigger or a different trigger to my G24.


Does anyone in Los Angeles are have a nice aftermarket trigger that could compare to just a (-) connector?

I know the 17L and the 24 were made with competing in mind..... I just don't know if anything other than the polishing of the trigger and the (-) connector is worth it....

Taran Tactical for reworked Glock parts(they’re great), or Timney Alpha for a drop in trigger. Big upgrade from stock parts, but not cheap.

I dropped a Timney in my old G34. Nice trigger, I'm pleased.

The only hiccup... My 34 is a gen 2.5, only two pins. The trigger is designed, and instructions printed for, three pins. I don't want to think about how long I spent trying to figure that part out.

I built two Glocks around Timney.

It's an entirely different trigger design.

One can split hairs on the reliability aspect of it and which trigger is better or not, but here's my impression of my two builds.

The Timney design in making a trigger crisper and lighter REMOVES the dependency on the STRIKER SPRING!!!!!!!!!!!!

What I am saying is I INCREASED my striker spring weight, and there by vastly reduced the chances of light primer strikes, and the TRIGGER PULL WEIGHT IS NOT increased.

Then to boot, the Timney reset, and pretravel can be reduced

So the three things that make a trigger good, can be had (pretravel, reset, and weight) without compromising ignition reliability that most other Glock triggers compromise.

For a range toy, the Johnny glock triggers are very nice

The best price/performance triggers seem to be the Glock Performance Trigger and the Timney Alpha Competition trigger. If you have deeper pockets, you can try Johnny Glock.
