Yes he did.

Couldn't believe all the problems he had with the cheap ammo, yet he still liked the gun. Ammo manufactures are really putting out some crappy 22lr. So much for the gun will eat any ammo. Crap ammo is crap no matter the pistol.

I have a good feeling if this pistol ever made it into a Ransom rest, with quality ammo it would surprise all of us.

Not sure about the comment about shooters today not being concerned with accuracy... if anything.. I think too much emphasis is put on target accuracy nowadays for standard combat firearms (even worse in the rifle community). How many times have you seen guns getting bashed/praised on forums for their in/ability to shoot X" groups at X yards when benched?

With the SR22.. maybe some people's expectations are too high. Almost everyone I know who has it, likes it. If one wants a target 22, they need to be designed differently to really work with the 22 caliber. Something like the SR22 is making some compromises to mimic centerfire "tactical" handguns.

All I meant by that comment was on this forum and others I have visited, there seems to be more of a concern with firearm capacity over precision bullet placement. When it comes to handguns, I rely on a Ransom Rest evaluation with quality factory ammo to help make my decision for purchase. If I can't find that particular evaluation, I look elsewhere. Trying to get exact information (numbers) out of people is usually tough at best. Why? Because many who buy new guns never find out what the gun is actually capable of. They just don't take the time or do not know how to find out. As long as the gun goes bang and I can hit blank, it's ok.

I know the comparison is bad at best, but the high end 1911 builders guarantee X group size at X distance with X ammo. This is something I can relate to, numbers don't lie. And I'll guarantee those accuracy claims are made with a Ransom Rest or a similar devise, not X shooter firing off hand at X distance. Some rifle manufacturers guarantee MOA or ?, using a similar rest as well, no human error involved.

I guarantee every gun maker knows exactly what their guns are capable of with different ammo, they just don't let us know unless the numbers are really good.
