Cal kimbers

I was looking for another kimber1911 and was told by turners that they now require mag disconnects and lci. That is sacrilegious.

Yes, the Shadow Ghost and the Rapide models we get in CA do have the LCI and mag disconnect.
I have a Shadow Ghost in 9mm and absolutely LOVE IT!
Such a soft shooting 1911 (since it's 9mm) and it's been 100% reliable and is extremely accurate.

I know Kimbers can be rather polarizing based on peoples' experiences with them, but I have to say all my experiences with Kimber (both 1911 and revolver) have been 100% positive...

The mag disconnect as I have been told is a modified mag release. Put a standard one and its gone. That is how they did it on my Browning 1911-22, there is an extra slot on the trigger bar and the mag release has a tab that slides into it when the mag is out. You can defete it by pressing in the mag release slightly.

Different shape, it is not interchangeable with a standard 1911 mag release
