A lot of folks would like to see a USPc in 45 brought back (I have a 9mm stainless USPc), I wouldn't mind a 45 USPc, but I already have an HK 45C and I quite like it...! Still waiting for an CC9!

H&K coming out with just a 9mm version just doesn’t rub me the right way.
Back in the day they had USP & USPc pistols in 9mm, 40s&w and 45acp. They pulled those 2 pistols out of ca - and now only offer the vp line 😵💫, H&K there are other caliber’s and shooters in ca that want a USPc or “ new “ 45 H&K pistol dang you !! 🤨

It's the first H&K designed and produced in America so the chances of a European mag release version showing up seem to be nonexistent. Americans, in general, hate paddle releases. And if it had shown up with a paddle release, there
would be a ton of people whinging that they won't buy it, would only buy it if it had the button release.NRA Certified Metallic Cartridge Reloading Instructor, Shotgun Instructor and Range Safety Officer

I've an USP in .45 with the paddle release. I just have to remember it and it won't be used in stressful situations it no biggie. I guess it's like the pointy elbows thing.Comment

Based upon sales of the CC9, it should be interesting to see if H&K continues this American designed, American made theme with other guns. If the sales are good, I bet they will.NRA Certified Metallic Cartridge Reloading Instructor, Shotgun Instructor and Range Safety Officer
