I always thought the 26X Concept would be sort of dumb to be honest, but since there's all the buzz on the interwebs about the 26X, I just thought to myself... can it be done with the older gens?
Forgive me if someone has done this already, I didn't go looking around, I just grabbed a couple of Glocks and some spare parts I had laying around.
My G19.3 I had previously removed material from the inner dust cover to fit the Gen 5 slide, so that made it easy. A G19.4 Frame would likely mock up like this with zero modifications.
Chop the front of the dust cover, boom G26X (almost)!
Would be interesting to see if the rail could be utilized with an existing light somehow. Would have to add the groove.

Looks like it could work, but the inner dust cover would need some more modification to allow the slide to move all the way to the rear.
I'm going to keep my eyes peeled for a G19 frame and see if I can make one 👀
