Anyone buying a Glock because of AB1127?

I have a rule. Anything that the State of Commifornia doesn't want me to own, gunwise, that's legal, I will buy. To whit, today I just bought a G19. I have a G17 and it's ok but far from my favorite pistol. We all know that Glock triggers are amongst the worse.
Now that Gav Boy and the dickheads in Sacramento have decided that I shouldn't be able to buy a Glock, I had to buy another. So for concealed carry, anything I should do to it? I plan on adding some TruGlo metal night sights but other than that, do I need to
mess with connector bar, trigger stuff, etc.?

I'm not a big Glock guy so I don't know these things. It's for CCW so I know I need to be conservative in mods for a carry gun. Any tips? Just the TruGlos? Anything else essential? I've decided I can stomach green dots for range toys like my my H&K VP9 but for a carry gun, I DON'T like dots.

Bought a Gen 3 G23 back in 2008 or so. Went on to purchase all the doo dads I could with it (9mm and 357 SIG conversion barrels, sights, lighter connector, etc.) I have no need or desire to purchase another. Glock makes good guns but the trigger needs some work to get them to what I would call accurate.

I would have bought a Ruger RXM instead if it was on the roster, but it's not.

The 11% excise tax is putting me off buying a G21

I can't say I blame you. I've bought half a dozen guns this year and buying the used ones feels so much better than paying Gav Boy his 11% extortion tax on the new ones.

The 11% excise tax has been holding me up from buying most handguns. Besides, the closest gun store (Reeds) has a very high mark up on Glock handguns.

Nope the extra 11% kind of keeps me from spending. Besides if I got more they may start talking amongst themselves and do the DIY conversions on their own. I mean so many guns cause violence all on their own without any human input, who am I to think they don't have the will to change themselves.

If you already have a 17 and 19, I'd recommend something small and something big.

Unfortunately, the 43X isn't on the roster, but I think the 42 is. You also need a 10mm. I think Glock is discontinuing the 29SF Gen 3, so get one of those if you can find one. Because you can also convert that 29SF into a 30s by buying a complete 36 upper. If you can't find a 29SF get the 20SF. The 42 and 30s make good carry guns.

Buy used. A lot of people find the G21 grips too fat and sell them. Got my G21 for $380.

Last Christmas my wife got me a 10mm conversion barrel and it’s worked flawlessly even without changing the extractor.

Good point, all. I suppose I should start thinking about buying used.

I got my G27 used for $350, then got a used 9mm conversion barrel for $50.

It bans some other guns too. The recently added Shadow Systems and Ross Martin I suspect also would get banned. Also barrels would be more regulated.
