    Recommend me a CCW Holster

Hey guys, I'm in the middle of my CCW class at the moment, and I've purchased an Uncle Mike's IWB holster for my Ruger LC9 w/ lasermax mod. When I'm using this carry system, the firearm and holster definitely leaves an imprint and a pretty noticeable bulge. With that being said, I'm now thinking of getting some sort of shoulder system (Galco Lite holster) but I really like the IWB concept, are there any better holsters available?

By the way, I'm about a medium build at 5'7" 175-180 lbs.

I haven't tried a shoulder rig before, but there are number of good IWB choices. I prefer kydex since it holds the opening of the holster open for re-holstering. It is also thin, light, and retention is great. Check out Bravo Concealment. There prices and wait time are less than Raven Concealment. I also heard a lot of great things about Crossbreed holster.

You shouldnt have a problem concealing an LC9. I'm guessing you need to buy a size larger shirt.

+1 for Crossbreed! I have one for my Sig 239 and Kahr PM9 and love them both. I'm 5'9" 185lbs and can conceal either pistol with ease

+1 on Crossbreed, they are goofy-lookin but deploy fast and disappear.

Thanks for the suggestion guys, seems like I'm gonna have to pick me up a Crossbreed to try on for size! until then, I just bought a belly band (gun holster + 2 mag holsters) from eBay.

Another one for crossbreed. And the Galco miami shoulder holster is great for winter under a coat.

The Crossbreeds get good reviews here. I've never tried one - it just looks like such a big piece of material to shove in your pants.

I stumbled on these and I've bought several, for different weapons:

It's a well-made leather holster, with a clip and a belt slot, so it can be IWB or OWB. I only use it IWB. With the clip, it's very quick and easy to take the whole holster on and off, which I like.

One tip on printing: cant. For me, at least, it helps a great deal to tip the gun forward a bit; that way, the butt lines up against my body and doesn't stick out. You might also consider pocket carry - some folks do that with LC9s.

I have a MaxTuck IWB holster from White Hat Holsters. I would definitely check them out. Lots of options and you can buy extra kydex for different carry options.

Not my pic but here is what a basic White Hat MaxTuck looks like.

If you like the idea of the Crossbread, you should also check out Tucker Gun Leather and look at the "Answer". Very nice holster and they have some options I have not seen with other makers. Good luck with what ever you choose.

A shoulder holster for that little thing would be overkill. A decent iWb like the one above should work fine as long as you don't wear spandex shirts.
3 day waiting period???? but I'm mad now!!!!!!
