Buddy of mine actually shoots his in competition. Runs it pretty well, too.
My friends and family disavow all knowledge of my existence, let alone my opinions.

Good to hear, I have seen a few people run the LTT versions in competition, supposedly they are great for that.

Ordered the $45 one this AM, I'm hoping it arrives soon so I take the CZ out again.

I installed one in one of my CZ 52s and took it out for a few boxes, worked great. I'll have to order another for my other CZ 52. I don't know how I ended up with two CZ52s (does anyone really need two CZ 52s?), I already had one but then had to take one as part of a package deal to get a hold of a Makarov and a P64.

The PX4 Compact in .40 is on my radar (if I could get one). I'd like to replace the CZ 75b Compact 40 that is on my permit now, as it's a hefty chunk. Sadly, I don't think that will be practical - my eyesight (especially in low light) is on the wane and at a recent re-qual prep range trip I discovered I could hardly see the factory stock sights on the CZ. I upgraded them just last week to a set of Truglo TFO which are very easy for me to see in any light.

I would do the same with a PX4 but no one makes sights that are compatible with the Compact, and the few sights I saw on offer were the front sight exclusively. That doesn't help me enough, and the only other alternative would be a slide-mounted optic of some kind... way too expensive, and too cumbersome IMHO for a compact ccw.

I'll probably end up replacing the XD-9 on my permit now (bit too large) with a CZ compact 9 alloy frame (I think that's the P-06). BTW just got the new permit yesterday and the new card format is SPIFF! Now my CA permit doesn't have to feel inferior to my Utah and AZ cards.

From what I've seen in the Marketplace, finding a PX4 Storm Compact here in Commifornia is rare. My LGS had a very clean, almost new Subcompact on consignment but that model seems far less desirable as it doesn't have the rotating action and just isn't as cool as the Compact

My son has a PX4 Storm in 9mm. It's an excellent shooting gun! Low recoil and very accurate.

I'm getting mine back from my gunsmith on Friday. Installed the LTT Trigger Job In A Bag, Handle It grip tape, new TruGlo night sights and a Gray Guns Performance Flat Trigger. Stock, it shot great so I'm looking forward to seeing how these upgrades improve it!

Just gotta keep looking for the compact, it will turn up eventually.

As for the subcompact, there is lots of parts interchangeability with the others and it accepts the full size and compact mags. So it is really part of a whole system even if it doesn't have the rotating barrel. If you are interested in the px4 platform, I'd pick up that sc while you still can.

Do your self a favor and give it the LTT treatment.

I owned a compact for a brief moment and didnt like it. Reminded me of a G26, short grip and blocky. Was able to sell it off a while back. The only PX4 I have now is the newest SD model. Comparing side by side with the original full size out of the box it offers the standard upgrades anyone would do. The heavier barrel? Dont think it makes much difference. Someone buying a PX4 would be fine with the standard model.

LTT trigger bar is a must for any model.
