    CZ75B 9MM Owner!!! Grips?

Just dross'd A CZ75B in 9mm today. Super excited. It fit like a glove, and the lockup was tight, almost 1911 like. I am thinking of changing the plastic grips for some rubber grips. Any good sites?? P.S. Guns Direct in Burbank is where I went to pick it up (I got the last one) and they were very professional, answered all my emails promptly, and I believe they might get some more in (Also the SP-01).

Don't forget to use the CGF Amazon link, so that CGF gets a percentage of the sale.

Also, check with CZ, they might have factory rubber grips. My CZ-75B Tactical came with factory rubber grips, and they're quite comfortable.

+1 on the factory rubber grips. Was thinking of switching to some CZ cocobolo's on my Matt Mink SP-01, but the factory rubber grips are just so comfy I can't bring myself to do it.

Factory rubber grips, or the houge finger grove grips I like better but are not USPSA production legal. Only reason I'm not still using them.

I have Hogue's wraparound on one of my CZ's and factory rubbers on another. Both are excellent. Factory has a better hand swell but I do like the finger groves on the hogue. Wish I had both features actually.

Factory rubber grip is great. Too bad I had to take it off the SP-01 to make IDPA weight limit.

Some people replace the mainspring plug with a poly one also. Can't remember who makes it but may help out.

The thin aluminum grips and skate tape from Angus Hobnall's Ghostholster shop are the cats ***.

                    Scandi,

I saw you DROS your gun today actually. I PPT'd a gun down the street at Aegis and I came in to fondle the 75b At guns direct after the transaction, but you had just bought it. I was the guy who said "Aww man, that's the 75b I wanted to check out" !

Lmao you was right behind me. I was thinking I just got there in time, it was major traffic coming there but luckily I left LA the time I did.

I just bought a pair of the factory rubber grips from CZ Custom. About $25 + shipping (and I picked up a spare slide stop, too). I think they're the same as the SP01 grips, which I really liked. They showed up in the mail today, but I haven't put them on the gun yet.

I know that you said you were looking for rubber grips but I can not recommend VZ grips high enough. I have them on 2 1911 & on my CZ75B SAO & absolutely love them, they completely change the feel of the CZ for the better.

They definitely do. I've mentioned this in a few threads already and posted the photo enough that I'm now embarrassed to do it ... but...

The factory rubber grips are super comfortable. Great for target shooting. For me, I found them just thick enough that it made it hard for me to operate the magazine release and slide release with my strong hand thumb without rotating my grip just a touch. As I was ramping up to do some competitive shooting at the time, I needed to fix this by getting thinner grips and the VZ grips completely did that. BIG difference on this point. Not as comfortable in the hand or as ergonomic for target shooting.

A couple years later, I got a 75B SA and chose Hogue grips for it. They're nicer. The quality is better and the fit is better. They were a bit more expensive, but I think it was worth it. The ones in the picture of the g-mascus xtreme in black/gray chain link texture.

Hogue wrap around grips from Midway, I've got them on my CZ:
