I was at my local gun range the other day talking about glocks and other various guns. The topic of gen4 glocks came up and the guy behind the counter stated that there are zero gen4 glocks in California. I told him that there are plenty of gen4 glocks in California and that you can buy one via SSE, PPT, or if you are exempt from the roster. I also got the feeling that everybody else behind the counter believed the same thing. ::sigh:: I hope I got through to them. =)

Which range was this? You should buy a Gen4 Glock and bring it in there to shoot one day and see what their reaction is. Ha!

I am getting pretty sick and tired of stores and ranges in CA who tell customers that. Just because THEY don't want to do SSEs, they try to keep their customers in the dark and spread FUD. That's why I no longer will buy even rostered guns from a store that doesn't also do SSEs. A store is either part of the problem or part of the solution.

Not knowing and maliciously spreading FUD are very different things. I have no problem with an lgs employee not knowing something, but don't make things up.
