    Keltek pr57

We all agree that the international magazine, top loading 5.7 "ccw pistol" is bait for generating content and clicks during shot show right? Is there anyone who actually believes keltek wants you to carry a firearm that you can't easily unload or quickly reload? Probably why they called it the PR because everyone is going to be making videos about keltek now. Their PR team probably worked overtime coming up with this one.

The stripper clip loading is a good idea, but I'm curious if an actual 'clip' that holds10-20 rounds that is top fed (think M1 Garand with the metal framework clip) and made from thin sheet metal or durable plastic be an alternative?
So instead of being a bottom-loaded, mag fed pistol, it would be a top loaded, clip fed pistol.
    Thoughts?

Try to clear a jam on one of these and you'll be quickly convinced that people had a good reason to go to detachable magazines.

I own a Broomhandle. I've never once thought to myself, "Hey, why did we ever get away from these internal magazines?"

Yabut... If they were to add a mag disconnect, a CLI and block the mag to 10 rounds to make it CA Compliant, they could add a threaded barrel because it has a fixed magazine!!

Would it even need a discount, the mag is fixed.
We can't have suppressors so what's the point of a threaded barrel in CA?

The individual stripper clips hold only 10 so they are compliant. No detachable magazine means no mag disconnect.

It will be interesting if it makes it on the roster. I'd buy one!

still seems pretty big for purpose built CCW. I guess they figure 20rds should cover a CCW situation without reloading.

maybe a 10rds only version with smaller grip would be a better CCW. what keeps them from making it a regular detach mag?

When is someone gonna make a 5.7 revolver? maybe a rifle revolver.

The size is good and it's 12 oz unloaded.

It has clean lines and is thin. The size and shape are perfect for carry!

but the gun itself is not good for carry. there is no way to unload it without racking the slide 20 times and there is no easy way to clear malfunctions.

I wonder if the slide can be removed with ammo in the grip.

When the slide is back, maybe push down on the upper cartridge, push the trigger forward and pull off the upper?

The fixed internal magazine is appealing to me.

I lost a mag from my P226 while riding in buggy, the side bar on the buggy depressed my mag release and one of the guys in my group found it hours later but it always stuck with me that the magazine can be lost.
