Does anyone have any trigger time with the new Ruger RXM? I like the fact that they come optic cut and have a chasis system for different frames in the future. They have few at Sportsman’s and I am considering picking one up. In the hand it feels better than my PSA Daggers. Another option is sending my Gen 5 Glock 19 in for milling.

Don't forget it also needs CLI which is different from LCI. I see neither on the RXM.
Truth is, if you ever see a brand new handgun model from ANY company, it probably won't be on roster. These manufacturers carefully select a few guns they think would be the most profitable and then they modify them for the CA market. Examples? Ruger Mark IV. LCP Max. P320. P365. We have only one, or a handful of these models and not the entire selection.

Would be a hot seller if it makes the rosterComment

As someone who hasn't jumped on the modular trigger group bandwagon, do people with 320's or 365's that feature serialized trigger groups really swapping the frames around to full size then compact or sub compact configurations?best troll thread in calguns history

No. Not in the case of the RXM because it's reasonably priced. Unless you just want a different color frame when they introduce them. But when it comes to the P365, yes, it makes sense. Because some variants of the P365 are outrageously expensive. So doing an aftermarket conversion to a similar configuration might cost you far less. Also, in Kalistan, a lot of those P365 models aren't on the roster. So the only way to get them is by buying the parts piecemeal.Last edited by k1dude; 01-22-2025, 11:16 AM."Show me a young conservative and I'll show you a man without a heart. They're fun to tinker with but I think most people do some initial experimenting and settle on the configuration they like. Imagine buying a G19 and realizing it's too small for you and wishing you went with the G45. Or buying a G45 and realizing it's too big to comfortably carry and wanting a G26 instead. In the case of the modular gun, you can reconfigure it instead of having to buy a different model.Comment

Yes for the P365. The original P365 is just barely enough for a 2-finger grip for someone with bigger hands. Swapping in a bigger frame allows it to become more of a range gun. We all know micros are not the most comfortable guns to shoot a few hundred round through in a single range session.Comment
