    357 SIG

Mrs. 357 SIG has been calling me alot lately ever since our first date back in April when a friend of mine let me shoot his P226 in 357 SIG. She left a very good impression and i do think about her every night

I have a P226EQ-40 with AEP, SRT, polished ramp. I invested alot of money in her already. I swore i would never cheat on her but if i get a .357 barrel would that be cheating ?

Ok, id like to think this through before i get the barrel. Are there any other cons for this cartridge other than cost/availability? they cost a little $1 more than 40sw at my local wallyworld and there is always plenty in stock everytime i check.

it's not gay if we don't look each other in the eyes.

anyways, I never shot .357 though it seems to me it's a better round than .40. Secret service uses it, so it can't be bad. I read up that it has better penetration than .40, and it tumbles once entered, also it has better stopping power as well.

                It's just a "bolt-on" accessory...
I'm retired. That's right, retired. I don't want to hear about the cop who stopped you today or how you didn't think you should get a ticket. That just makes me grumpy!

The secret service really use it? If they do then it must be pretty effin great. I heard great things about this cartridge basically a 357mag in a smaller package. You can tell its a man stopper but how does the bullet tumble once it enters?

I only shot 50 rounds exactly. The recoil is smooth if i could compare it to another caliber its feels like a smooth 9mm +P. The muzzle flash is big and bright every time i send a round down range the whole range lights up which i thought was very cool

No x-change kit needed i like the EQ slide i just need to swap barrels. IIRC the sig p226 40sw and 357sig are interchangeable.

just wanted to show of my collection.

anyways, it has pretty good velocity, just like you said, it's a 9mm round that packs a punch. The rifle like, bottle neck casing gives it great velocity.
One of the calibers on my list to own..

I could be wrong, but by tumbling i mean it basically changes its course, instead of just going forward, a lot like 5.7 except not as fast.

Buy it! then let me shoot it.
